Schinken Noodle




OK,  this dish!! I love it and the kids do to . Its called " Schinken Noodle" which means " Ham noodle" in German... so yes its a German dish!...


Lets get cooking ...


 4 Cups of Mozerella and 4 Cups Mixed Cheese 
( any mixture you prefer )


16 oz  Half and Half Cream 

 
One large Egg


Pepper, Paprika and Season Salt


            1 pd cooked plain ham    ( dont get honey,or any other flavor ham)          
                                                                          
 
 

Box of Penne Noodle






Step  One 
 Brown ham in skillet add Pepper, Season Salt , and paprika to taste















Step Two 
While ham is cooking boil noodles for 10 mins 
(If ham browns before noodles finish it is OK to just let it  sit with heat off )


Step Three

While noodles are boiling mix one egg in bowl 


 Step Four
 Next add 4 oz of half & half cream, a pinch of salt and pepper  to egg and mix 
( do not over mix - if it begins to bubble up you have mixed it to much) 



Step Five


Add mixture back into Half &Half container and shake
 Refrigerate mixture until later 


Step Six
 Alright lets LAYER!!!

Get your casserole dish out .....



 Step Seven
Layer as follows: 






Step Eight
Once you have added cheese PRESS !!


Step Nine 
Add all Half & Half mixture to casserole 


Add foil on top of casserole


Step Ten 
Bake in oven on 350 degrees for 30 min  
 

 Step Eleven
Remove foil and bake for another 18 mins ( yes 18 mins :) ) 

and ......


VOILA !!!!



Cut and serve... the thing i love about this dish is that the leftovers the next day taste EVEN BETTER!
